Foods to Avoid While Breastfeeding
Women did found during breastfeeding, they can eat as usual. Even their breast milk taste can be changed because of some strong flavor foods. There are good and bad effects for the baby because of the varieties flavor. Baby can enjoy or dislike certain flavor of the mother’s milk. We can avoid what flavor that our baby dislikes.
During the breastfeeding, the most avoided food is chocolate, garlic, spices, chili, citrus, etc. You can drink coffee, but you must remember that the caffeine in the coffee may have effects your baby sleep. Also remember that caffeine is not only in coffee, caffeine exist in tea, soda, etc. Beside caffeine, alcoholic drinks will also increase your milk alcohol level.
If you want to drinks more, don’t consume all drinks at same time. It is better to wait for hours before you continue the baby breast feeding. You don’t have to pumps your breast unless you breast is full or the time for baby breastfeeding. You must avoid drinking any type of hard drinks during the breastfeeding. Or maybe you should ask your doctor because omitting certain foods can cause imbalance of your nutrition. You may see the doctor to get advice or any supplements.
